As an Overhead Crane Operator, you'll play a key part in keeping production moving by safely handling and transporting structural steel throughout the site.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Loading and unloading structural steel from trailers using an overhead crane
- Moving steel sections around the workshop to support production
- Transferring materials between workstations to minimise downtime
- Operating safely in line with company health and safety procedures
- Emptying workshop scrap bins using a forklift truck where required
- Keeping your working area clean, organised and safe
- Providing occasional support within the external stack yard
What we're looking for
Essential
- Experience operating overhead cranes and slinging structural steel
- Experience loading and unloading structural steel from trailers
- Good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
- Reliable, punctual and committed to high standards of work
- Forklift Truck licence (desirable)
- Sideloader experience (desirable)
- Shunter experience (desirable)

Pay: £14.00-£15.50 per hour
