Overview:
Reporting to the Retail Operations Manager, you will be accountable for building, managing and maintaining the retail plan across operational and trading activity. You will provide a single view of all activity impacting store teams, ensuring plans are built with store capacity in mind and aligned to retail priorities. Working closely with Commercial Planning, Supply Chain, Marketing, Trading and wider business stakeholders, you will ensure activity is joined up, credible and achievable for store teams, while supporting delivery of the trading plan and driving incremental sales through effective, vendor-funded sales incentives.

Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the Retail Planning framework, governance and principles, ensuring all activity landing in stores is prioritised, challenged and aligned to business and retail priorities.

Provide a single, credible view of planned retail activity, balancing commercial opportunity, operational capacity, customer impact and store team workload.

Coordinate cross-functional planning with Commercial Planning, Supply Chain, Marketing, Trading and wider business stakeholders, ensuring activity is joined up before it lands in stores.

Lead the planning and coordination of trading sales incentives, ensuring plans are commercially effective, operationally achievable and vendor-funded where appropriate.

Represent Retail Operations in key planning and sign-off forums, challenging activity where needed and ensuring store requirements are understood early.

Stay close to store feedback and performance, using insight to improve the planning process, strengthen alignment and reduce unnecessary impact on stores.

Maintain regular stakeholder alignment with the Senior Retail Team to ensure the retail plan supports operational priorities and the trading plan.

Lead liaison within Central Ops, updating on the plan to ensure we deliver a best-fit approach aligned to our principles that supports Retail Leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence, challenge and align cross-functional teams, across commercial, marketing, supply chain, trading and retail.

Strong planner and able to prioritise, with experience managing multiple activities, deadlines and competing priorities while keeping store capacity and operational reality in mind.

Commercially aware, with an understanding of trading plans, sales drivers and how well-planned retail activity can support incremental sales growth.

Excellent communicator, with strong written and verbal skills and the ability to turn business activity into clear, practical plans for retail teams.

Strong IT skills, including Office 365 and Teams.
