As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you'll be the consistent, positive influence that helps make those moments possible.
Milestone Education is working with specialist settings across Worcestershire, seeking compassionate and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistants who are committed to helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
What your days could look like
Every day brings new opportunities to build relationships and create positive outcomes.
You'll work closely with teachers and pastoral teams, supporting pupils both 1:1 and in small groups, helping them engage with learning while developing confidence, resilience, and emotional regulation.
Your role could include:
- Supporting pupils with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and additional learning needs.
- Delivering personalised interventions and behaviour support strategies.
- Encouraging positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and independence.
- Building trusting relationships that help pupils feel safe and supported.
- Supporting learning both inside and outside the classroom.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, families, and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes.
