Footlights Dagenham are searching for the best, inspirational and diverse tutors to join our team to inspire 7-18 year olds in Performing Arts!
Must have skills in ballet, musical theatre, jazz, commercial, and contemporary. For example, would you feel comfortable choreographing a Les Misérables routine as well as a contemporary piece to Ariana Grande? If so... we'd love to hear from you!
Job Summary
- To have a wide range of skills and up to date knowledge of dance.
- Plan, create and deliver appropriate material/routines that explore and develop dance techniques for 6-11year olds.
- Plan schemes of work and lessons in advance, which enable clear progression.
- To regularly monitor student progression within sessions to write reports that inform parents/guardians about areas of strength and areas for development to maximise learning for all our students.
Please note that your ability to commit to 36 term-time sessions is paramount as we pride ourselves on continuity and the progression of our learners.
Class Day & Time
Saturdays, 9:45am until 1pm with potential for weekday classes and after school clubs.
About Us
Footlights is a well-established, multi-award-winning stage school that offers high-quality training to 3 - 18-year-olds. Many of our children work professionally with recent credits, including Game of Thrones, Disney's Cruella, RSC's Matilda the Musical UK Tour, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang UK Tour, Les Misérables, CBBC's Almost Never, The 4 O'clock Club, Katy and The Dog Ate My Homework.
