Job Description – Forest Bar and Kitchen
Forest Bar and Kitchen is looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking team member to join our restaurant team.
The Role
We are looking for a bilingual Turkish and English speaker who can communicate confidently with both our customers and our staff. Turkish is particularly important as part of our team communicates primarily in Turkish, while fluent English is essential for providing excellent customer service.
You will help ensure clear communication between staff and customers and support the smooth running of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Communicating confidently with customers in fluent English
- Communicating with Turkish-speaking members of staff in Turkish
- Helping to ensure clear communication between customers and the wider team
- Taking and serving customer orders accurately
- Handling payments and operating the till when required
- Maintaining clean and organised restaurant areas
- Supporting colleagues during busy periods
- Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures
- Assisting with general restaurant duties as required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is fluent in both Turkish and English
- Is friendly, approachable and customer-focused
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Can remain calm and organised in a busy restaurant environment
- Works well as part of a team
- Has a positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Has previous hospitality experience (desirable, but not essential)
