Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to provide personalised educational support to students across various age groups. The successful candidate will assist learners in understanding subject material, developing study skills, and achieving their academic goals. Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in designated subjects, tailoring approaches to individual learning styles
- Develop customised lesson plans and educational materials to meet each student’s needs
- Assess students’ progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages confidence and motivation
- Support students with special educational needs by implementing appropriate teaching methods
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress and areas for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student achievements
Experience
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or young learners
- Knowledge of special education practices is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Experience working with diverse student populations is desirable
- Prior experience in educational settings or as a teaching assistant is beneficial but not essential
