Senior Oracle HCM Techno-Functional Consultant
We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle HCM Techno-Functional Consultant to join our global HR Technology team. This role combines functional Oracle HCM expertise with strong technical consulting skills and will play a key role in supporting, enhancing, and optimising Oracle Fusion HCM across the organisation.
As a trusted subject matter expert, you will work closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to design, configure, test, support, and enhance Oracle HCM solutions. You will be responsible for delivering scalable business solutions across multiple HCM modules while also developing technical components including BI Publisher reports, Fast Formula, integrations, data loads, and extracts.
This role is ideal for an Oracle HCM professional who wants to combine functional consulting expertise with technical development skills while helping drive the future of Oracle HCM, Redwood, and employee experience across a global organisation.
- Configure, maintain, and support Oracle Fusion HCM modules within Aptean including Core HR, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Compensation, Journeys, and related workforce management processes.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable, sustainable Oracle HCM solutions.
- Design and maintain approvals, security, workflows, eligibility rules, validations, and business process configurations.
- Develop and support Oracle Fast Formula across HCM modules.
- Design, develop, and maintain BI Publisher (BIP) reports, OTBI analyses, dashboards, HCM Extracts, and data interfaces.
- Support inbound and outbound integrations using HDL, HSDL, REST APIs, and Oracle integration technologies.
- Configure and support Oracle Redwood experiences across HCM modules, ensuring alignment with Oracle best practices and quarterly release functionality.
- Design and maintain Oracle Journeys to support onboarding, employee lifecycle events, manager processes, compliance activities, and organisational change initiatives.
- Lead and support system enhancements, projects, testing activities, defect resolution, and production support.
- Participate in quarterly Oracle release reviews, impact assessments, regression testing, and feature adoption activities.
- Ensure strong data governance, security controls, audit compliance, and system integrity.
- Develop functional and technical documentation, configuration workbooks, test scripts, user guides, and support materials.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions and continuous system improvements.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Minimum 4 years' experience working with Oracle Fusion HCM in a techno-functional consulting role including hands-on experience supporting multiple Oracle HCM modules, including Core HR and at least one of Time & Labor, Absence Management, Compensation, Talent Management, or Journeys.
- Functional expertise including: strong understanding of Oracle Fusion HCM business processes and configuration; experience designing and supporting approvals, security roles, workflows, eligibility profiles, business rules, validations, and employee lifecycle processes; knowledge of employee lifecycle processes and HR operational best practices.
- Technical expertise including: Oracle Fast Formula development and troubleshooting; BI Publisher (BIP) report development; OTBI reporting and analytics; HDL and HSDL data loading; HCM Extracts and data migration activities; REST API integrations and interface support; understanding of Oracle HCM security concepts and role-based access controls.
- Redwood & Journeys Experience including: supporting Oracle Redwood user experiences and quarterly Redwood enhancements; experience configuring and supporting Oracle Journeys and Journey templates; understanding of Experience Design Studio and employee experience optimization; experience supporting user adoption, testing, and change management activities associated with Redwood implementations.
- Experience supporting global HR systems, business processes, and stakeholder communities.
