You are the face and voice of our practice – the crucial first and last impression for our clients and their beloved pets. We are looking for an empathetic and highly organised individual to manage our reception area and ensure the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks.A typical day involves:
- Welcoming Clients: Greeting and checking in clients and their pets, ensuring a calm and welcoming atmosphere, especially during stressful situations.
- Managing Communications: Answering a high volume of phone calls, responding to emails, and directing inquiries to the appropriate veterinary staff.
- Scheduling & Records: Efficiently scheduling appointments, managing client and patient records in our LUPA software system, and handling all necessary paperwork.
- Financial & Retail Duties: Processing payments, preparing invoices, and encouraging retail sales of pet food and accessories available in the clinic.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with our vets and nurses (we have a team of X vets and Y nurses) to ensure seamless communication and patient care.
