At Squiggles Nursery, we provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive. We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team and help deliver outstanding early years education and care.
The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Provide high-quality care and learning opportunities for children.
- Support children’s development through play-based learning activities.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
- Contribute to planning engaging activities that support the Curriculum for Wales.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 3 qualification in children’s care, play, learning and development.
- Has experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
- Has a understanding of the Curriculum for Wales framework and safeguarding requirements.
- Is reliable, caring, and committed to providing exceptional childcare.
