Radiant Care Homes is looking for caring, resilient and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our growing team and help transform the lives of children and young people.
We currently operate two Ofsted-registered EBD children's homes and have exciting plans to expand our services in the near future. As we grow, we are looking for people who are passionate about providing outstanding care and support to children who need it most.

About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team providing care and support to children and young people in a safe, nurturing and structured home environment.
You will play an important role in helping children develop confidence, independence, resilience and positive relationships while supporting them to achieve their individual goals.

Your Responsibilities
- Building positive and trusting relationships with children and young people.
- Supporting children with daily routines, education, activities and personal development.
- Promoting emotional wellbeing, independence and positive behaviour.
- Safeguarding children and ensuring their welfare remains the highest priority.
- Supporting children to achieve positive outcomes in education, health and daily life.
- Participating in activities, outings and enriching experiences.
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care planning.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals.
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
- Caring, resilient and positive attitude.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- Residential childcare, youth work, education, healthcare or support work experience.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it).
- Understanding of trauma-informed practice and safeguarding.
