The Role
We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Front-End Developer to join our growing team. In this permanent role, you'll play a key part in building and maintaining the user-facing elements of our web applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to translate mockups and user stories into clean, responsive, and user-friendly front-end code.
- Develop and maintain highly interactive web applications using HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS), and JavaScript.
- Contribute to the development of a consistent and reusable codebase.
- Effectively utilise Git for version control and collaboration.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs to ensure smooth website operation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and trends.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in front-end development.
- University degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or demonstrably equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript fundamentals.
- Experience with CSS preprocessors like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Laravel (experience with one project is sufficient).
- Proficiency with Git version control.
- Working knowledge of cPanel.
- Understanding of relational databases, particularly MySQL.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- A self-starting and proactive approach to work.
- A passion for building beautiful and functional user interfaces.
- A portfolio showcasing your front-end development skills.

Compensation
- £25,000 per annum.
- 40 hours per week.
- Remote working with very infrequent trips to Angus for team meetings.
