Are you a master of your craft, looking for a company that invests in your future? At Gardens by Keltie and Clark, we don’t just build gardens; we create bespoke sanctuaries. We are looking for a Skilled Landscaper who is ready to take the next step in their career. Whether you are already a seasoned pro looking for a leadership role or a talented tradesperson hungry to widen your skill set in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you. We take pride in hiring self-driven individuals and developing them into the industry’s next leaders. You will work on prestigious, high-specification residential projects across the Cotswolds and Cheltenham, moving beyond standard builds into complex, artisanal construction.
- For the Aspiring Leader: Take ownership of sites, manage small teams, and oversee the transformation of unique outdoor spaces from design to completion.
- For the Skill-Seeker: Widen your expertise across multiple disciplines, including specialist stonework, timber construction, water features, and advanced planting schemes.
Your Role & Duties: You will be responsible for bringing beautiful designs from paper to reality. Our projects are diverse and total transformations, often including:
- Water Features: Specialist ponds, bespoke wildlife features, and large cascading water bowls.
- Luxury Installations: Plunge pools, swimming pools, and outdoor kitchens.
- Artisanal Structures: Garden rooms, floating benches, and unique timber pieces.
- Soft Landscaping: Large-scale planting schemes and wildlife-friendly environments.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in landscape construction is highly desirable, but we will also consider those from a general building background.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators.
- Physicality: Fitness to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions, including lifting heavy objects.
- Attributes: Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as a dedicated team player.
- Driver’s Licence: Preferred for transporting equipment and materials between sites.
- Growth Mindset: An understanding of irrigation systems is a plus, but we are happy to provide full training in this area.
What We Offer
- Supportive Culture: We foster a welcoming environment described by our team as one of "cups of coffee, biscuits, and helpful colleagues" all working together to get things done properly.
