Within Warwickshire County Council, the Employability and Skills Team commissions services and provides a number of support services, primarily supporting businesses, gathering economic needs, whilst also supporting in the creation of career opportunities linking to employment, education and skills partners.
The team engage widely with a number of external partners and stakeholders who we collaborate with to widen our reach.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the delivery of the Connect to Work programme across Warwickshire specifically within the area of Individual Placement and Support (IPS).
In this key role, you will oversee programme performance, manage partnerships with employment and skills providers, and ensure delivery meets local need and external funding requirements. Working closely with colleagues, funders, and delivery partners, you will shape and monitor activity that supports residents to progress towards sustainable employment.
You will bring strong experience of managing employability or skills programmes, partnership working, funding compliance, and performance management. You will also provide leadership across a matrix-managed environment and support the strategic development of employment support across Warwickshire.
This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to make a real difference to individuals, communities, and the local economy.
