The Tapiola Piano school is seeking a talented piano teacher to join our team! This is a part-time position and teaching will take place one day a week during school time. (we can be flexible with days) The teaching will commence in September and the locations are Maidenhead and Wooburn Green.
For this particular role, we are looking for a dedicated teacher who is both fun and engaging. You will mainly be working with children during a primary school setting and previous experience in this field will be an advantage.
We currently have around 8 students, although there is scope to build upon this number and there may additional work at other schools.
The right candidate will possess great music skills and should be in a position to teach up to grade 8 piano or equivalent. However, please bear in mind that the majority of our students are in year 1 - 6, and you would mainly be working on music suited to this age group.
This role will require an up-to-date enhanced DBS check and ideally, you will possess a music degree.
