Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile General Assistant - Kitchen & FOH to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and food safety regulations
- Support front-of-house operations, including serving guests and managing table settings
- Deliver exceptional guest services by attending to customer needs promptly and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas
- Handle meal preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and basic cooking duties
- Manage phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering guest inquiries
- Support delivery drivers with the transportation of supplies or orders when required
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene protocols at all times
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables, as well as restocking supplies in both FOH and kitchen areas
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or hotel environments is advantageous
- Food preparation skills including cooking, meal assembly, or culinary experience preferred
- Delivery driver experience is a plus but not essential
- Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures is desirable
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on polite phone etiquette and guest interaction
- Experience in barista work or serving roles will be considered an asset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
