About SCD Comps
SCD Comps is one of the UK's competition platforms for trading card collectors.
Every week we launch exciting competitions featuring Pokémon, sports cards, entertainment collectibles and exclusive hobby products, giving our players the chance to win prizes they genuinely love.
What makes us different is our community. Every competition is run fairly and transparently, every winner is published, and every live draw is carried out with honesty and professionalism. It's this approach that has helped us build a loyal community of collectors who trust us.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for an enthusiastic, confident individual to become the face of SCD Comps and help us take the business to the next level.
The Role
This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Plymouth headquarters.
You'll work closely with the Directors and wider team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of SCD Comps. No two days are the same. One day you'll be hosting live prize draws, the next you'll be filming content, launching competitions, chatting with customers or packing prizes for our latest winners.
You'll become the recognisable face of our live draws, building trust with our community while creating engaging content that keeps people coming back week after week.
Although experience in competitions, e-commerce or content creation is a huge advantage, it isn't essential. We're looking for the right personality, attitude and enthusiasm.
Full training will be provided across every aspect of the role, including our competition platform, live draw process, customer service, social media content and day-to-day operations. If you're willing to learn, we'll teach you everything you need to know.
As SCD Comps continues to grow, there will be genuine opportunities to develop your role and progress within the business.
Who This Role Would Suit
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being on camera, loves creating content and wants to build a genuine connection with a community of collectors.
You might already create content on TikTok or Instagram, stream games online, present videos, or simply be someone who naturally enjoys entertaining and talking to people.
We're far more interested in your personality, confidence and willingness to learn than we are in years of experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- Planning, building and launching competitions on our platform.
- Managing competitions from launch through to the live draw.
- Ensuring every competition is accurate, fair and professionally presented.
- Hosting our live prize draws with confidence, professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Becoming the recognisable face of SCD Comps.
- Creating engaging content for Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms.
- Capturing behind-the-scenes content, stories and reels throughout the day.
- Building excitement around upcoming competitions and prize launches.
- Engaging with our growing community across social media.
- Answering customer enquiries and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Picking, packing and dispatching prizes to winners.
- Working closely with the team to continuously improve the customer experience.
- Bringing fresh ideas for competitions, content and community engagement.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with the right attitude, enthusiasm and personality.
Ideally you'll have:
- Confidence speaking on camera and presenting live.
- A friendly, outgoing personality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Confidence thinking on your feet and staying calm under pressure.
- A genuine interest in trading cards and collectibles, or enthusiasm to learn.
- A good understanding of Instagram, TikTok and social media trends.
- Creativity and an eye for engaging content.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- A willingness to learn new skills and grow with the business.
Bonus Skills (Not Essential)
These would be a fantastic bonus but aren't required.
- Experience creating social media content.
- Experience presenting on camera or live streaming.
- Experience using OBS, ManyCam or similar live production software.
- Basic photography or videography skills.
- Knowledge of trading cards, collectibles or the hobby.
- Experience in retail, customer service, e-commerce or community management.
