Overview
We are a small family business located in Rotherham looking for a full-time qualified tachograph engineer to join our friendly team.
Responsibilities
Day to day tasks predominantly include all aspects of tachograph work; installation, repairs, calibrations, inspections, on both digital and analogue tachograph units fitted 4x4’s, LGV’s and HGV’s.
There will also be opportunities to work on tail lift repairs, servicing, inspections and weight tests.
Manufacturer and inhouse training would be provided for all aspects of work.
Working Pattern
We work days only - no shift work and the hours of work are Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 - 4:30 pm. Saturday mornings may be available as overtime if there is a need for it.
Requirements
Valid driving licence
Valid tachograph licence and qualification desirable but not essential as training will be given.
The successful candidate would have a positive outlook to work with a willingness to learn.
This will be a workshop role in our clean and heated workshops.
Salary is dependant on experience.
