Pay: £100–£125 per day, depending on experience

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and engaging Graduate Academic Mentors to support students across North West London from September. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, tutors, or educators who are passionate about education and committed to making a positive difference in students’ academic progress. The successful candidates will work closely with students to provide academic support in Maths and/or Science, helping to improve confidence, raise attainment, and encourage a positive attitude towards learning.
The Role
- 1:1 and small group tuition sessions
- Supporting students in Maths and/or Science
- Helping students build confidence, improve attainment, and stay engaged in learning
- Providing homework, coursework, and exam preparation support
- Developing engaging sessions and adapting support to meet individual student needs
- Supporting students of varying abilities, including some with SEN (Special Educational Needs)
- Working with programme coordinators to ensure sessions are effective and aligned with student needs
- Providing feedback, marking where required, and maintaining progress records
Essential Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in Maths, Science, or a related subject
- A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and supporting young people
- Strong communication and time management skills
- A professional, reliable, and engaging approach
- Availability to start in September
Desirable
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience
- Experience supporting students with SEN
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
