Playground Maintenance Operative & Driver
Location: ESP is based in Burnley, but the role will require you to travel around the country.
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Hours: of Work: 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with an occasional requirement to work on a weekend.

About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and enthusiastic Playground Maintenance Operative & Driver to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll work as part of a two-person team delivering playground equipment and components, carrying out maintenance works, and assisting with the installation of outdoor playgrounds across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
· Carry out minor repairs and report major faults
· Complete inspection reports and maintenance logs
· Respond to urgent repair requests and safety concerns
· Make deliveries and collections of equipment and materials to sites
· Represent the company professionally when working on customer sites
· You will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
What We are Looking For
· Experience in grounds maintenance, carpentry, or similar trade
· Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
· Ability to work as part of a team and manage time effectively
· Good communication and record-keeping skills
· Flexible approach to travel and overnight stays when required
· Full UK driving licence (essential)
Desirable Qualifications
· ROSPA Playground Inspection Certificate
· First Aid training
· Experience working in public spaces or with local authorities
