Summary
We are seeking a Controls Engineer to join our team in the United Kingdom. This role is vital in developing and maintaining control systems that support our mission of delivering reliable hygiene solutions for our clients in the food sector.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, continually improve and implement control systems for tanker cleaning equipment.
- Strong background in designing, coding, testing, and troubleshooting PLC programs
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to optimize system performance.
- On-Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT)
Field-Device Configuration & Wiring Troubleshooting
Installation and Commissioning
Strong Technical Documentation and drawings
Proficiency in working in a team environment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Document control system designs and modifications accurately.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the company.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in control systems engineering, preferably within industrial or food processing environments.
- Extensive knowledge in Siemens, and B&R automation.
Experience with Citect / AVEVA Plant SCADA WinCC, FactoryTalk
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI development, and automation protocols.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control system issues effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications.
- Familiarity with hygiene standards applicable to the food industry is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: £55,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
