Main duties, tasks & skills required
Delivering front-line maintenance, breakdown response, and planned preventative tasks across the hospital estate.
Carrying out mechanical repairs, minor improvements, and capital works.
Ensuring compliance with Health Technical Memorandums (HTMs) and Trust safety standards.
Participating in the on-call rota to respond to emergency repairs outside normal hours.
Supporting statutory compliance through inspections, commissioning tests, and documentation.
Supervising contractors and liaising with specialist maintenance providers.
