We’re looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team and help us provide our guests with a great start to their day.

What will you be doing?
As a Breakfast Chef, you'll play an important role in preparing and serving breakfast for our guests, ensuring food is cooked to a high standard and ready for service on time.
Our kitchens operate slightly differently to a typical restaurant. We serve large numbers of guests at set meal times, meaning preparation, organisation and teamwork are key. You'll work as part of a supportive kitchen team and receive guidance on our menus and procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and cooking breakfast items to the required quality and presentation standards.
- Ensuring breakfast is prepared and ready for service on time.
- Following the set menus and recipes provided by Daish’s.
- Ensuring food is cooked, stored and served safely and in line with food hygiene requirements.
- Preparing ingredients and carrying out kitchen preparation ahead of service.
- Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team to ensure a smooth breakfast service.
- Monitoring food levels throughout service and replenishing when required.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Supporting with stock replenishment and kitchen preparation as required.
- Following company Health & Safety, Food Safety and COSHH procedures.
- Maintaining required food safety records and labelling systems where required.
- Supporting the wider kitchen team with reasonable tasks as requested by the Head Chef or Hotel Management.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who is passionate about food and enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment. Previous breakfast or commercial kitchen experience would be an advantage, but we're also interested in hearing from chefs who are keen to develop their experience.

- Knowledgeable about food hygiene and Health & Safety requirements.
- Positive, enthusiastic and willing to support the wider kitchen team.
- Flexible and able to work weekends and bank holidays.
