A full-time permanent vacancy has arisen within our Product Quality Department. Working: Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm.
Primary Purpose of Position
To assist Glenair’s Product Quality team in non-technical administrative tasks. Liaising with the team of Engineers regarding production issues and updating the relevant areas with progress.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Liaise with Engineers and assist in providing daily updates to any problem folders regarding Quality issues.
- Assist FAIR Team with Traceability and administrative activities.
- Obtain Certificates, Test reports and various documentation from the company archiving system for certain departmental requirements.
- Assist the European Quality Assurance Manager & Quality Control Manager by formulating priority lists for incoming goods. (QC Materials & Product Quality Technicians)
- Purchasing Liaison – Chasing up ongoing orders for the Department.
- Supporting the European Quality Assurance Manager & Quality Control Manager with document retention, creation, etc. where required
Person Specification
- Experience in a Technical Environment
- Experience in the use of all Microsoft Office Packages
- C or above in Maths and English, or equivalent
- Ability to work as a team
- Good communicator both orally and written
- This role does require a BPSS Security Clearance
