Your new role:
As a Signature Dining Chef, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your passion and creativity. An integral part of the team, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility, expand and develop your role. Joining our team at our stunning Surbiton site, you will be working 37 hours per week 5 days over 7, with shifts will allocated on a rota basis. Shifts will include evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the running of the kitchen in the absence of the chef manager/head chef
- Prepare meals to the highest possible standards, using fresh ingredients, and presented with love and care.
- Provide a daily breakfast, lunch, and supper service.
- Keep up to date with the menus and what food is on offer.
- Ensure that COSHH, food safety, and health and safety legislation are followed.
As our Chef You Will...
- Be experienced, creative, and passionate about cooking with fresh produce.
- Be a skilled chef who enjoys working with fresh ingredients.
- Understand and have experience of producing modified meals using the IDDSI Framework.
- Be skilled in baking.
- Be an effective team worker.
- Possess excellent culinary skills and be up to date with current food trends.
- Be comfortable engaging with vulnerable adults and their relatives.
- Have excellent communication and people skills.
- Be available to start as soon as possible
- Hold a City & Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or equivalent.
- Have completed Health & Safety and Food Safety Training
