Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team in Portchester. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in serving customers with goods produced on site in our bakery.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in managing customer inquiries and requests
- Provide excellent customer service by politely and efficiently serving customers face to face
- Communicate with customers in English to address their needs and provide product information
- Working as part of a team to ensure to smooth running of the shop
Skills:
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to sell products effectively by understanding customer needs and presenting solutions
- Basic math skills for pricing calculations and discounts
- Organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks
Hours:
- Wednesday 8am-1pm
- Thursday 10.30am-4.30pm
- Friday 7.30am-4.30pm
Pay: £12.71-£12.72 per hour

Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
