Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 2 or above qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and contribute to their early childhood development.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise a group of children within the nursery setting
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive in
- Monitor and assess children's progress and development
- Collaborate with parents and communicate effectively about their child's day
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to children's activities
Experience:
- Previous experience working in early childhood education or childcare settings
- Familiarity with nursery routines, policies, and procedures
- Ability to engage and interact with children in a positive and nurturing manner
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate leadership qualities
