Job Overview
At Footy for Tots, we believe a child’s first experience of football should be fun, engaging and something they look forward to every week. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Football Coach to join our team and help deliver high-quality sessions for children aged 18 months to 4 years.
As a coach, you’ll deliver our structured toddler football programme, creating a safe, supportive and engaging environment where young children can develop confidence, coordination, balance and their first football skills through play. Full training will be provided, so previous coaching experience isn’t essential. We value personality, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for working with young children above all else.
What you’ll do
- Deliver fun and engaging football sessions for children aged 18 months to 4 years.
- Create a safe, inclusive and positive coaching environment.
- Encourage children and their parents or carers to participate and enjoy each session.
- Follow our structured coaching programme and session plans.
- Set up and pack away coaching equipment.
- Build positive relationships with parents, children and fellow coaches.
- Represent Footy for Tots professionally at all times.
Essential requirements
- FA Level 1 (or Introduction to Coaching Football / equivalent FA coaching qualification).
- Valid FA Safeguarding Children qualification.
- Valid FA Emergency First Aid qualification.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
An in-date FA DBS is desirable but not essential, as we can help arrange this before you start.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, punctual and confident working with young children and their families. You’ll be a positive role model with excellent communication skills, plenty of energy and a willingness to learn and develop as a coach.
What we offer
- Full training in the Footy for Tots coaching programme.
- Ongoing mentoring and support.
- All session plans and equipment provided.
- Opportunities for additional coaching hours as the business grows.
- A fun, rewarding and supportive coaching environment.
This is a part-time role working Saturday and Sunday mornings, with opportunities for additional coaching hours as the business continues to grow.
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
