The Role
Re-Gen Waste is seeking a Nightshift Transport Co-Ordinator to join our busy 24-hour operation. This is a key position within the business, responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient movement of vehicles, materials, and information across our site during night operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in coordinating transport activities, operating the weighbridge, maintaining accurate records, and acting as the first point of contact for drivers, customers, and contractors. Working closely with operational teams, you will help ensure that all vehicle movements, documentation, and site processes are managed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor vehicle movements throughout the night.
- Communicate with drivers regarding collections, deliveries, and route changes.
- Update transport management systems and maintain accurate records.
- Operate the weighbridge for all inbound and outbound vehicles.
- Produce weighbridge tickets and ensure compliance with environmental and transport regulations.
- Act as the first point of contact for drivers, customers, and visitors.
- Complete shift reports and support effective handovers to the day team.
- Promote health, safety, and continuous improvement across operations.
Essential Requirements
- Experience in transport administration, logistics, or weighbridge operations.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure.
- Willingness to work permanent night shifts.
Desirable
- Experience in waste management, recycling, or logistics.
- Knowledge of transport legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS), weighbridge software, or ERP systems.
- Understanding of environmental compliance and waste documentation.

Hours of work: Monday to Thurs 6:00am to 6:00pm
