Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced cook to join our team in preparing delicious meals for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and be knowledgeable about culinary techniques.
Duties
-Preparing and cooking meals according to recipes
-Ensuring food safety standards are met during all stages of food preparation
-Operate kitchen equipment proficiently
-Assisting in maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
-Collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes
-Being responsible for audits
-Ensuring orders are complete so that we have enough stock in place to follow the menu.
Qualifications
-Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant or kitchen environment
-Proficiency in food preparation techniques and culinary skills
-Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
-Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
