The Lygon Arms is a historic luxury hotel with a busy, well-established kitchen at its heart. As part of our collaboration with Chef James Martin, our Grill and Tavern delivers high-quality food in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
We’re looking for a strong, reliable Chef de Partie who enjoys being busy, takes pride in consistency, and wants to work within a stable, supportive brigade.
- Running your section confidently during busy services
- Working within a high-volume, well-organised operation
- Producing consistent, well-executed dishes under pressure
- Supporting junior chefs and leading by example on shift
- Working closely with the Sous and Head Chef in a calm, structured way
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and organisation
This is a hands-on role , ideal for chefs who enjoy rhythm, pace and teamwork rather than ego or drama.
- Experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi ready to step up
- Comfortable in a busy, volume-led kitchen
- Organised, steady and calm during service
- A team player who values structure and clear leadership
- Keen to grow and progress with support from senior chef.
- £32,674 salary + service charge (circa £4,5k per year)
