EXPERIENCED BARISTA

Pay: £12.71–£14.95 per hour, depending on experience
BUNTY'S THE VILLAGE KITCHEN is looking for an experienced and passionate Barista to join our growing team.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves coffee, takes pride in what they serve and understands that great hospitality is about much more than simply making a good coffee.
You’ll play an important role in creating the experience our customers receive from the moment they walk through the door.
YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
- Producing quality cappuccinos, flat whites, lattes and other speciality coffees & drinks
- Taking pride in presentation, including latte art where appropriate
- Maintaining the coffee machine, grinder and service area
- Keeping the coffee station clean, organised and fully prepared for service
- Working closely with the FOH and kitchen teams during busy periods
- Providing friendly, confident and professional customer service
- Taking orders and helping customers with coffee choices when required
- Helping maintain our standards of cleanliness, presentation and service
- Supporting the wider team when needed
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
- Has previous barista experience in a busy café, restaurant or speciality coffee environment
- Is confident using a commercial espresso machine and grinder
- Understands coffee extraction and the importance of consistency
- Takes pride in producing quality drinks
- Has a good eye for presentation
- Can work quickly and calmly during busy services
- Is friendly, confident and comfortable speaking with customers
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Works well as part of a small team
- Takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a growing business
