Due to the continued growth of our Alternative Provision, we are seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic Mentor to inspire, guide, and support young people through hands-on vocational learning.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to individuals in a mentoring capacity
- Help mentees set and achieve personal and professional goals
- Share knowledge, skills, and experiences to assist mentees in their development
- Offer advice and feedback on various aspects of life and work
- Serve as a positive role model and advocate for mentees
Skills:
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to actively listen and provide constructive feedback
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build trust with mentees
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each mentee
