Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Transportation planner/administrator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring efficient transportation operations that align with our mission of providing top-notch vehicle collection service to our clients and customers. Your contributions will help streamline processes and enhance our service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Contact other businesses and customers to arrange collection of vehicles via telephone and electronic methods.
- Gather appropriate information about the vehicle we are collecting.
- Liaise with our clients via portals and telephone.
- Administrate all communications onto our systems and clients.
- Communicate with our drivers when required.
- Other basic administrational tasks.
- Provide the best service to our customers and clients and maintain good working relationships throughout.
- Qualifications
- Ideally from a motor vehicle background.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and data entry systems.
- Excellent communication skills .
- Familiarity with logistics principles and practices is a bonus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Deliver fantastic customer and client service.
We do not require someone with logistics planning knowledge, but ideally someone who is quite logical and willing to learn. if you are knowledgeable about vehicle makes and models that will really help this position.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £29,500.00 per year
