We are looking for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join our team working within the social housing sector. The successful candidate will carry out a variety of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment works in occupied and void properties, delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance works within social housing properties.
- Complete repairs and installations safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Liaise professionally with tenants, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of completed works and materials used.
Essential Requirements
- Experience working within the social housing sector.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Desirable Trade Skills
Candidates do not need to possess all of the following skills; however, experience in at least three of the trades listed below would be highly desirable:
- Carpentry
- Wall and floor tiling
- Basic plumbing
- Plastering and patch repairs
- Roofing repairs
- Groundworks
