Parts Advisor, Altrincham
Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit a Parts Advisor to join our business in Altrincham on a permanent basis.
In this role you will be managing customer enquiries at a trade counter and over the phone, processing orders, maintaining stock levels and coordinating deliveries.
We are looking for an organised and customer-focused individual with previous experience within a Parts Department and a passion for delivering excellent service.
This role offers career development with a bonus scheme following a qualifying period.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 17:30pm
Salary:
- £28,300 per annum + generous bonus scheme
Key Responsibilities of a Parts Advisor:
- Handling customer enquiries over the phone and at the trade counter
- Processing parts orders and sourcing components through the company’s online catalogue
- Managing and maintaining stock levels
- Coordinating parts deliveries with the service department
- Supporting engineers working on customer sites across the UK
- Ensuring excellent customer service at every stage of the process
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver an efficient and professional parts service
Experience and Skills of a successful Parts Advisor:
- Previous experience within a Parts Department
- Plant machinery parts experience would be advantageous
- Experience within automotive, agricultural, construction equipment, HGV or other mechanical industries would be beneficial
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organised with good stock management awareness
- Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
- Able to work independently and use your own initiative
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Understanding of stock control and parts obsolescence would be advantageous
