Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of clinical negligence claims from inception through to resolution, including settlement negotiations and court proceedings.
- Conduct detailed case assessments, gather evidence, and review medical records to build compelling cases.
- Communicate effectively with clients, medical professionals, insurers, and other stakeholders to gather information and provide updates.
- Negotiate settlements confidently, ensuring clients’ best interests are prioritised while fostering positive relationships with all parties involved.
- Prepare legal documentation such as pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity.
- Keep meticulous records of case progress, deadlines, and correspondence to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay informed on relevant legislation, case law, and industry best practices related to clinical negligence law.
Requirements
- Proven experience within clinical negligence or litigation role .
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable outcomes for clients.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently.
- Knowledge of relevant legal procedures, medical terminology, and regulatory requirements within clinical negligence law.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
