the Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Officer to safeguard our premises, staff, and assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, conducting patrols, and ensuring a safe environment . This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and proactive security measures are essential.
Duties
- Conduct regular physical patrols to identify any suspicious activity or security breaches during the shift at least 5-7 foot patrol.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials of visitors and staff to prevent unauthorised entry.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing and deterring theft or vandalism.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, including administering first aid if necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required.
- Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any faults or issues promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in surveillance, security roles is preferred.
- radio use/good communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure work as a team on site.
- Excellent observational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to complete detailed reports accurately.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and stand for extended periods.
- able to work 12 hours shift pattern 3-4 shift day or night flexible.
