Description:
We are looking for a Shift Supervisor to join our front-of-house team. Part-time and full-time positions are available, with contracted hours agreed around the successful candidate's requirements.
You will work alongside our other Shift Supervisors, sharing day-to-day responsibilities and supporting one another to maintain consistent standards. Depending on the rota, you may lead a shift independently or work collaboratively with another supervisor.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role. You will help lead the team during service, remain actively involved in daily operations and work closely with the kitchen team to maintain an efficient service.
The successful candidate will be calm, organised and confident during busy periods. A stable base rota, two consecutive days off and daytime shifts provide a healthy work-life balance.
Requirements:
· Previous supervisory or relevant hospitality experience.
· Barista experience.
· Confidence leading and supporting a team.
· Strong customer-service and communication skills.
· Understanding of food hygiene, allergens and dietary requirements.
· Availability to work weekends and during school term time.
Responsibilities:
· Supervise front-of-house operations and lead by example during service.
· Share operational responsibilities and work with other Shift Supervisors.
· Maintain high standards of customer service, presentation, cleanliness and hygiene.
· Communicate effectively with the front-of-house and kitchen.
· Support employee training and development.
· Assist with stock control, ordering and day-to-day operational issues.
· Follow all food hygiene, allergen, health and safety, and company procedures.
