SEND Tutoring is seeking an exceptional Specialist SEN Tutor to support an academically able 15-year-old with visual impairment, Autism with a PDA profile, and complex learning needs.

We're looking for someone with:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A minimum of 5 years' teaching experience
Experience supporting pupils with PDA and complex SEND
Experience of visual impairment (highly desirable)
Additional SEND qualifications (desirable)
About the role
Ideally, you'll be a secondary teacher able to teach the core curriculum. We would also welcome applications from experienced primary teachers who are confident teaching an academically able learner at secondary level.
The young person has a particular passion for Mathematics, would benefit from additional support with English, and has a keen interest in Humanities.
What we offer
- £60 per hour
- Approximately 15 hours per week (typically 3–4 hours per day)
- Paid planning and preparation time to adapt learning resources
- Full induction and training before the placement begins
- Weekly payment every Friday
