Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dosette and Delivery Hub Manager to lead our medication packaging and delivery operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing the daily management of the dosette (medication dispensing) process and coordinating the delivery hub to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely service. Duties
- Supervise the daily operations of the dosette packaging process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards
- Manage the delivery hub team, coordinating schedules, workflows, and resource allocation to meet service targets
- Oversee inventory management, including medication stock levels, storage conditions, and order fulfillment
- Lead human resources activities such as staff training, performance reviews, and fostering a positive team environment
- Monitor financial aspects of the hub operations, including budgeting, cost control, and procurement processes
- Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure medication accuracy and address any operational issues promptly
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a management role within healthcare or logistics environments
- Strong management skills with a track record of leading teams effectively in fast-paced settings
- Minimum 3 years' experience working as a pharmacy technician, ideally with monitored dosage systems
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) and GPhC registration
- Experience in financial management, including budgeting, cost analysis, and resource planning
- Knowledge of human resources practices such as staff development, performance management, and recruitment
- Veterinary experience or background is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with medication handling or animal health supplies
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems proactively
- Clear communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, healthcare providers, and suppliers
