Job Overview
We are seeking skilled shutering carpernters to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in carpentry and possess a variety of skills including and the use of both hand and power tools. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform heavy lifting. The Joiners will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and panel materials.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install bases, slabs, colums & walls.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete projects
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a shuttering carpenter within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties
- Valid commercial driving licence is an advantage but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
