Staffing Coordinator (Fixed term 12 months - maternity cover with a view to potentially be a permanent position).

Working: Monday - Friday 40 per week / Hours between 6am & 6pm / Being on call
Purpose of the role
To drive cost-efficiency and operational excellence across all sites by reducing reliance on agency staff through effective workforce planning, promoting a positive workplace culture, and enhancing communication.
This role ensures full compliance with all safeguarding and training requirements at every session, maintains a consistent and capable staffing structure to deliver exceptional customer service, and keeps all training records accurate and up to date.
Additionally, the role coordinates cost-effective First Aid training and collaborates closely with the Recruitment team to build and maintain a reliable internal staffing pool.
Key Responsibilities
- Reduce Agency Cost to the business (sickness – culture / communication)
- Ensure all settings are compliant at every session (Qualifications, DSL, Food Hygiene, First Aid & Safe Recruitment)
- Ensure that each site has a stable staffing team that is consistent and able to deliver A star customer service.
- Facilitate excellent communication to all stakeholders about staffing. (Staff, School)
- Ensure that the training matrix is up to date and accurate at all times.
- Coordinate First Aid training within the company. Ensure that this is costed at the most efficient way possible.
- Work in partnership with Recruitment to ensure that all sites are adequately staffed and that we have a bank pool of staff in place to use as an alternative to agency staff.
