Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and diligent Part Time Evening Cleaner to join our team in Romsey. This energetic role is perfect for individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. As a key member of our cleaning staff, you will ensure that our premises are spotless, hygienic, and inviting for staff, visitors, and clients alike.
This is a key job and the working hours are Monday - Friday two hours per evening, the hours are flexible after 18.00pm.
Duties
- Perform thorough commercial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting all designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste responsibly throughout your shift.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper as needed.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively to achieve optimal results.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during evening hours.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols is advantageous.
