As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest standards of person-centred care, while promoting their dignity, independence, comfort and wellbeing.
Your role
Working alongside the General Manager, Deputy Manager, Registered Nurse in Charge, Care Coordinators and Community Leads, you will be an important part of our care team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality, compassionate care to our residents.
- Supporting residents with personal care while maintaining their dignity, privacy and independence.
- Developing positive and respectful relationships with residents and their families.
- Supporting residents with their daily routines and individual care needs.
- Using your knowledge and experience to provide excellent dementia and elderly care.
- Ensuring all care is delivered in accordance with company policies, procedures and Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements.
- Recognising and responding to residents’ changing needs and reporting concerns appropriately.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency of care.
- Promoting a safe, welcoming and positive environment for everyone.
- Working as part of a supportive and dynamic team dedicated to delivering outstanding care.
About you
We’re looking for people who genuinely care about others and are passionate about making a difference.
You’ll ideally have previous experience working in a care environment and have strong practical personal care skills.
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health & Social Care would be advantageous, but it is not essential.
