Responsibilities
- Create engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and learning sessions to ensure their safety and well-being
- Build strong relationships with children and their families through effective communication and regular updates
- Support the implementation of curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Assist in managing daily routines and classroom management to foster independence and positive behavior
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative ideas for activities and improve overall nursery operations
Requirements
- Valid qualification as an Early Years Educator or equivalent recognized certification
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide both children and team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Ability to work flexibly, including driving if required for nursery transportation or outings
