Assistant Store Manager – Timberland Edinburgh

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to support the day-to-day running of our Timberland store in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate retail leader who enjoys developing people, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving commercial success while supporting the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving and exceeding sales, KPI, and profitability targets.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience and ensure excellent service standards at all times.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members to maximise performance.
- Motivate the team through effective leadership, communication, and support.
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store in the Store Manager's absence.
- Manage store operations, including cash handling, banking, opening and closing procedures, and administration.
- Develop excellent product knowledge and support the team in becoming brand experts.
- Oversee stock management, deliveries, stock returns, refunds, exchanges, and inventory accuracy.
- Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities to improve results.
- Support performance management through regular coaching and feedback.
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Act as a positive brand ambassador for both Timberland and Future D2C Ltd.
About You
- Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor, or Senior Sales Advisor in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and deliver KPI results.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to driving business performance.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
- Flexible to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends as required.
