About Us:
Otto House is an independent coffee shop, bar, and creative space in the heart of Winton — known for our speciality coffee, curated events, and laid-back but professional atmosphere. We’re looking for an experienced Bar/Event Staff member to join our team for weekend evening shifts and occasional private events.
About the Role:
You’ll be behind the bar during busy weekend nights and events, serving drinks with great energy and professionalism. The ideal candidate has solid bar experience, knows their way around cocktail prep, and understands the essentials of keeping a bar running smoothly — from changing kegs to maintaining cleanliness and stock levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines, and soft drinks
- Maintain a clean and organised bar throughout service
- Change and clean beer kegs, taps, and lines as required
- Assist with setup and breakdown for private events
- Provide friendly, professional service to every guest
- Follow licensing and health & safety procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 year of bar experience (cocktail experience preferred)
- Confident working in a fast-paced, social environment
- Reliable and proactive with a good eye for detail
- Available mainly for Friday and Saturday nights, with flexibility for other events
