Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Support food safety protocols by maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Help supervise junior team members during shifts, fostering a cooperative and efficient work environment.
- Contribute to food production processes, including portioning, plating, and garnishing dishes to meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with the team to manage kitchen operations smoothly during busy service hours.
- Participate in training sessions on culinary techniques, food safety regulations, and hospitality best practices.
- Support serving staff by preparing ingredients or assisting with order assembly when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production, cooking, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
- Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
