What your days could look like
You'll work alongside teachers, therapists and specialist practitioners, supporting learners both in and beyond the classroom.
Every student follows a personalised pathway, so your role will vary depending on their individual aspirations and support needs.
You could be helping students to:
- Develop independent living skills.
- Access vocational learning and practical workshops.
- Prepare for supported internships and future employment.
- Build confidence in communication and social interaction.
- Access therapy sessions and personalised learning.
- Develop the skills needed to live more independently after college.
The role also includes supporting learners with personal care and manual handling where required, always delivered with dignity, compassion and respect.
