Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a fresh environment.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly for resolution.
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms to uphold overall hotel standards.
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled to enhance overall property appearance.
- Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently while providing friendly service to guests and team members.
Skills
- Previous hotel experience or janitorial experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively during busy shifts.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond courteously to guest needs.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout the shift.
